What we do
‘SWIS’ – South West Information Sharing is a platform designed to facilitate the multi-agency sharing of data between both public and private sector organisations throughout the south west region that is compliant to the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 through the use of a standardised Tier 1 and Tier 2 Data Sharing Agreement.
What data we need
To become a signatory of the ‘SWIS’ partnership, we require certain details in order to register your organisation into the partnership. This data will include:
- Your Name
- Your Organisations Name
- Your Job Title (as lead contact for your organisation)
- Your Work Contact Number
- Your Work Email Address
How we manage this data
This data will be collected via the online registration form and will be managed and stored securely by Teign Housing and Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) as joint administrators of the partnership. The data will be managed in accordance with our Document Retention Schedule and respective data protection policies. This data may be shared when appropriate with other multi-agency signatories that are registered with the partnership if in the legitimate interests of our signatories, or in the vital interests of the public or your customers. No personal data relating to you or your customers will be processed or shared outside of the ‘SWIS’ partnership unless required by law.
By completing the registration form, you confirm that your organisation is prepared to enter into the partnership and cooperate as required with other signatories. You confirm that your organisation has the necessary data protection due diligence mechanisms in place to handle, share and process data of a sensitive nature as set out in data protection law.
